**1st 9 Weeks:  Independent choices (minimum 3 titles) w/ updated Reading Log taped into back of the spiral--ongoing; short stories and poetry all year
**2nd 9 Weeks:  Ind. choices plus Graphic Novels
**3rd 9 Weeks:  Ind. choices plus I am Malala book study (class set)
**4th 9 Weeks:  The Children's Homer--it's epic!  Every student needs a clean copy to annotate.  The library will order them for purchase at the end of February, or you can purchase it elsewhere.  I'll send an email ahead of time with the information.
