Week 2:  Monday, March 30 - Friday, April 3

1. Complete 30 minutes of Membean
2. Complete NRI assignment "Strong Thesis and Hooks Practice" due by Friday but I allowed late submissions if you need more time
3. Wednesday: peer edit 3 persuasive letters on Itslearning
4.  Read the articles for mythology background knowledge and answer the questions with answers only and number it! Submit through a Google Doc on the Itlearning Assignment titled "Mythology Article Answers"

• "What is a Myth?"  Fill in the blanks p. 3/no need to answer Research and Discussion questions
• "Short History of Myth" Read Article and complete questions on same Google Doc
• "The Great Gods" Read through the list of gods and complete fill-in-the-blank questions on the same Google Doc
• "Homer" Read article and answer the questions at the end of the document

5. Watch the videos!  These will help with your background knowledge before we begin reading the novel next week (I'll post a link to an online version if you left your book at school.)

• "Gods and Goddesses" 
• The Iliad by Homer/Author Biography
• "Everything you Need to Know Before you Read Homer's Odyssey"
